Reforest started when our founders were building an e-commerce platform and wanted to offset their shipping emissions by planting trees. They quickly realized how complex it was to integrate with multiple tree-planting organizations.
Each partner had different APIs, pricing models, reporting systems, and certification processes. What should have been a simple "plant a tree" feature turned into months of integration work.
That's when we realized we could solve this problem not just for ourselves, but for thousands of other developers and businesses who want to make a positive environmental impact.
